OUR HISTORIC LEGACY

The Warehouse / Arts District of Downtown New Orleans and The Garage both have a storied past. The property’s historic legacy shaped its design-driven development, and the result is the peak of contemporary luxury living.

The property has been at the center of transportation innovation for more than a century, starting in the late 1800s with New Orleans's first and the nation’s longest-running electric streetcar line. Streetcars led to automobiles and the grand opening of “Stephens Garage” in 1949. The building housed Buick and Chevrolet dealerships for more than 50 years.

We took this history of innovation and incorporated it into our features and amenities. Our car elevator is one of only a handful of residential car elevators in the United States, and automotive-inspired architectural details grace all of the residences.
